The 4th grade went to Norrie Park for a field trip with Mr. Tom from the Michigan Tech Center for Science and Environmental Outreach. Students were given the opportunity to get in the Montreal River with D nets and scoop up creatures from the habitat, such as crayfish, toenail clams, minnows, and caddisfly larvae. A great lesson and a great day to be outside!
