The 7th grade students visited Michigan Tech today, to take part in a festival hosted by Mind Trekkers. Mind Trekkers brings communities together to support an educational ecosystem and strong future workforce in STEM. During the event, students discovered the power of science through experimentation. Experiments included skewering a balloon without popping it, being inside a bubble, and even playing a piano made of bananas!

On Thursday and Friday of last week, GCC instructor Glen Ackerman Behr and his AMD 101 students gave a presentation to Woodworking students. We learned how to interface between our design software and our new CNC router.
Thank you for this opportunity and for your expertise!
