Adam Mackey, Ironwood Area School District (IASD) Special Education Supervisor, oversees and administers all District evaluations and programs for children with disabilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA). Mr. Mackey serves as the IASD Representative and member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team. He ensures - at a local level - that the District is complying with the procedural and substantive requirements of the IDEA, and that students are receiving a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in their Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).
